Since childhood Art has expressed himself artistically. He received a Master of Fine Arts degree in 1982 from Washington University, but it was not until 1997 that Art was first introduced to the art of the Teddy Bear. He was soon addicted.
Today, Art is obsessed with creating bears and other soft sculptured creatures. All of his creations are from his original designs and made of the finest materials. Art uses many traditional techniques and fabrics but does not hesitate to try something new and different. Being creative and fun is what it is all about. Art resides in Maryland Heights, Missouri, USA.
